No more school! It's summer vacation time! And it's Christmas! What a joyous time here in Cape Town...the kids are pumped! On Wednesday we had our Christmas party for the children and it was so much fun! Many of them were so excited that they waited for HOURS to get in. :) The kids performed songs, dances, and a nativity play; they got their faces painted; there were two jumping castles; and they all left with a meal, ice cream, and a gift. It was the most crazy day ever (we had 450 children between two parties), but at the same time it was the most amazingly joyous day ever. Merry Christmas!

ReplyDeleteOkay, so these pictures made me cry! How amazing and wonderful this must have been for you both! What a great day for the kids! I can't wait to hear about it. You two must have been exhausted by the end of the day.....but a very joyful exhausted I'm sure! You two are WAY tooooo skinny for Mr. & Mrs. Santa.....but you both look amazingly happy to share this time with all your kids! We are thankful for all you are doing in the lives of the children of South Africa!
