It's the hottest day ever here (100 degrees F), and although we may have wanted to go to the beach to cool off, we just found out that a shark attacked a tourist yesterday at Fish Hoek beach (5 minutes away from where we live, and the beach that we often visit). And then when we started researching we came across this picture of a shark at Fish Hoek beach in 2006...do you see how close to the shore it is!!!??? I suppose we may never get more than our toes in the water ever again. It might be a long HOT summer without air conditioning!
Okay.....this is a scary story! My vote is to fill up the tub with cold water and put your toes in there! PLEASE be VERY careful! I bet you were on this same beach last week huh? Thank you Lord for protecting our kids! Our prayers are with the victims family!
